Fiancée/Fiancé visa is for an applicant who intends to get married in the UK with the view to switch to spouse or partner visa to remain with their settled or British citizen/partner in the UK.

Application for a spouse visa
After the marriage, the spouse (s) or partner of a British citizen should apply to switch to Spouse / Civil Partner visa before the expiry date of their Fiancee visa.

Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
Depending on the visa route you will be entitled to submit an application for settlement once you fulfil your qualifying period of 60 or 120 months

Citizenship
As a spouse or a partner you may be able to apply for naturalisation immediately after ILR
FIANCEE VISA REQUIREMENTS
the parties should marry during the validity of the Fiancée visa (the visa is issued for a period of 6 months)
both parties must be at least 18 years old
parties must prove that they have met before and know each other well, and also need to demonstrate that they intend to get married in the UK
the sponsor must show that he meets the financial requirement
English language proficiency at level no lower than A1 according to the European CEFR scheme.
Fiancée visa do not give the right to work, study or recourse to public funds

SPOUSE VISA REQUIREMENTS
both parties must be at least 18 years old
the parties should be in a genuine and durable relationship
marriage or partnership should be recognised in the UK
the sponsor should either be residing or intend to return to UK with the view to settle
both parties should intend to live together permanently
the sponsor should be able to adequately accommodate the applicant with any dependents
It is necessary to meet the financial requirements if applying for entry clearance
the applicant must be proficient in English at a level no lower than A1 according to the European CEFR scheme
a visa is issued for 2.5 years (to be renewed) if you apply in the UK
2 years 9 months when you apply from abroad
spouse visa gives the right to work in the UK without restrictions
UNMARRIED PARTNER VISA
YOU CAN APPLY IF:
you are able to demonstrate that you have been cohabitating with your sponsor for at least 2 years in a relationship akin husband and wife to meet the relationship requirement
you meet the other immigration requirements alike spouse visa route
INDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN AND CITIZENSHIP
ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain)
Depending on the visa route you will be entitled to submit an application for settlement once you fulfil your qualifying period of 60 or 120 months
Tests
To qualify for ILR the applicant also must pass the Life in the UK and English Language test (B1 level CEFR). Exceptions are persons over 65 or on medical grounds.
